In probably their last competitive race in an individual event, Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte, two of the United States' most decorated swimmer of all time, will go head-to-head one more time in the finals of 200-meter individual medley.

Men's 50 meter freestyle semifinal at 9:03 p.m US EST:

Kicking off a busy evening at Olympics Aquatic Stadium are the two semifinal heats for the 50 meter freestyle event. Andray Hovorov of Ukraine clocked the fastest sprint coming off the heat with a time of 21.49 seconds. Nathan Adrian, who failed to defend his Olympic title in 100-meter freestyle, recorded the second fastest time at 21.61 while another American sprinter Anthony Ervin finished with a time of 21.63.

Women's 200 meter breaststroke final at 9:17 p.m US EST:

United States failed to send a swimmer into this event after 100 meter breaststroke champion Lilly King bombed out in the semifinal. King's archrival and 100 meter silver medalist Yulia Efimova secured a spot in the final, but all eyes will be on Taylor McKeown of Australia, who clocked 2:21.69.

Men's 200 meter backstroke final at 9:26 p.m US EST:

Russia's Evgeny Rylov emerges as the favorite heading into the final after clocking the fastest time in the semis at 1:54.45. However, he will be tested by Australia's Mitch Larkin and US duo of Jacob Pebley and Ryan Murphy for the gold.

Women's 200 meter backstroke semis at 9:35 US EST:

The Iron Lady has already collected three gold medals in Rio. She is not finished yet. Hungary's Katinka Hosszú easily topped the heats at 2:06.09. The most versatile female swimmer in the Rio Olympics is expected to dominate anew in an event that also features Mady Dirado of USA and Hilary Caldwell of Canada.

Men's 200 meter individual medley finals at 10:01 US EST:

Already with three gold medals and 21 overall, Phelps' last pursuit for an individual gold fittingly will run through Lochte in an event that has gained high profile treatment over the last four Olympic Games. Phelps finished with the fastest time in the semis at 1:55.78 while Lochte comes in second at 1:56.28. Barring an unforeseen debacle, the two are assured of a place on the podium, though they need first to fend off a potential fight from Brazil's Thiago Pereira and Japan Kosuke Hagino.

Women's 100 meter freestyle final at 10:18 US EST:

Australia's Kate Campbell is the world record and Olympic record holder of this fast-paced event. The favorite is expected to live up to her billing as she battles a field consists of defending Olympic champ Ranomi Kromowidjojo and his sister Bronte Campbell.
