Jade Smith death hoax perturbs fans

| Aug 14, 2016 05:45 AM EDT

Jaden Smith attends the 'Suicide Squad' World Premiere at The Beacon Theatre on August 1, 2016 in New York City.

Celebrities are often the victims of death hoax, as Jade Smith, son of "Men in Black" star Will Smith was not spared from the jinx recently. Reports flooded the media that the "Karate Kid" actor committed suicide, but hours later it was proved that the reports were fake and that 18-year-old rapper is not dead.

The rumor mill went berserk as news of Jaden's death went viral through a video that had its title: "Jaden Smith son of Will Smith says goodbye with his cellphone before suicide before hanging." Readers will have to undergo app permission before they can watch the viral video. However, the hoax is that the website is replete with virus, so once a viewer clicks he/she is turned to a page reading 'virus warning'.

Alleged reports of Jaden's death came weeks after rumors of Jack Black's death circulated online. Black's fans were shocked as they read a message on Twitter, "I'm sad to officially announce the death of Jack Black at the age of 46, rest in peace brother."

Soon after the news flashed on the social media, Tenacious D's Twitter handle ruled out the news as hoax and said that it was just a prank and the actor is very much alive. The twitter shows, "Calm down guys! It's just a prank bro, look there's the camera."

Meanwhile, Will Smith's son is grabbing headlines with his innovative fashion statement as he was recently spotted with his girlfriend Sarah Snyder during "The Get Down," directed by Baz Luhrman.

The couple was an eyeful as they both flaunted pared-back outfits, thanks to style lessons from Kanye West, Vogue reported. Kanye was in the midst of a stormy gossip as he turned out for the Met Gala in tattered jeans.

Smith appeared in a white T-shirt, highly overtly embellished jacket and skinny jeans, while Snyder was spotted in high-waisted black colored denim shorts. The couple was under the media glare in the past for sharing some PDA moments while sitting in the front row of Hood, organized by Air's Fall show in this year.

Jade definitely loves to attend the Fashion Week but the way he matches his drop-crotches and flannel shows how he loves to follow his own trends. As a star child dressed in studded leather, the youngster has evolved better and brighter in Louis Vuitton style as he has grown up, NYMag reported.
