"Blindspot" season 2 will feature a three-month time-jump. Throughout this time, lead character Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) was locked and tortured in a CIA black site.
When the series premieres next month, Jane won't be all too pleased with the mysterious organization that has forced her to work with them. While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Martin Gero said that the entire season 2 will center on Jane working as a double agent for the FBI and CIA.
"If the first season was about Jane Doe being a Trojan Horse inside the FBI, the second season is about her being a double agent inside of her own organization," he said.
Meanwhile, the text published on the site may have just dropped some clues regarding Jane's identity. In the original text, the letter "c" from basically was capitalized. The letter "a" from season was also capitalized, as well as "n" in agent and the "I" in inside.
In other news, Gero also talked about what other things are in store for the characters of "Blindspot" in season 2.

"For us, Taylor Shaw is behind us aside from the emotional fallout for Kurt and Jane... not only are you gonna find out Jane's name, you're gonna find out what Orion is, who Shepard is, what the plan of the organization is... we want to move into the story of the second season and we want to reward longtime viewers," he said.
