Jennifer Lawrence did not attend the 87th Annual Oscars Awards as she was seen out in the snow with her dog in Boston at a shopping mall while the rest of Hollywood enjoyed the festivities of the most prestigious awards night.
However, the star was not having a shopping spree as, according to People Magazine, she is frequently spotted in the mall where she takes Flywheel classes.
The Oscar-winning actress best known for her work in the franchise the "Hunger Games" was in the middle of a snowstorm in Boston where she and the cast of an upcoming film called "Joy" by David O. Russell. Lawrence won an Oscar back in 2012 as Best Actress for her performance in the movie "Silver Linings Playbook" and also won two Golden Globe Awards as the Best Actress also for the film and in 2013, she won the award for the movie "American Hustle" as Best Supporting Actress.
In a photo uploaded by E! News, the star was seen holding her puppy identified as Pippi very close to her. The star teamed up with Russell for the film that was about the inventor of Miracle Pop, Joy Mangano. She announced last summer that she will be playing the lead role of the film.
She appeared on "Live! With Kelly and Michael" and she shared, "He recently texted me at, I think, 4 in the morning, and was like, 'I think I want to make a movie about the woman who invented the [Miracle] Mop. You want to do it?' And I was like, yeah."
Both Russell and Lawrence are Academy Award winners and the flick will possibly be in the running of the best film of the year next awards season as critics are predicting.
The star was seen wearing a gray knit cap, a black winter jacket and a bodyguard.
