Viewers can expect tension between Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane (Jaimie Alexander) in "Blindspot" Season 2. The new season of the crime drama series created by Martin Gero will premiere on Sept. 14 on NBC.
"She feels that the team pretty much gave her to the CIA," Entertainment Weekly quoted Alexander as saying about her "Blindspot" character. The actress added that Jane has been "beaten every day for three months straight."
Weller and company will not find it easy to trust Jane, who also is not very happy with them. This means that fans should not expect a happy reunion between Stapleton and Alexander's characters.
More than a month before the "Blindspot" Season 2 premiere, Alexander was accused of being responsible for the firing of several people from the Brooklyn set of the NBC series produced by Warner Bros. A source told Page Six that the actress was "a perfectionist who complains constantly."
The source added that Alexander "is such a nightmare that the producers will do almost anything to stop the torture." On the other hand, a spokeswoman for Warner Bros. denied the allegations but admitted that three people were recently let go from the production.
According to the spokeswoman, it was a decision made by the production and studio and it had nothing to do with any show talent. Alexander's spokesman also responded to the accusations.
"I've never heard of a cast member being able to decide who is on the set," the spokesman said. "She's not even first on the call list."
Aside from reprising her role as Jane in "Blindspot" Season 2, Alexander is also currently filming "Thor: Ragnarok." She is reprising her role as Sif.
Directed by Taika Waititi, "Thor: Ragnarok" is set to hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017. Among Alexander's co-stars are Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston.
