"Game of Thrones" series is approaching its end, but still there are two more seasons left in the HBO saga. They might be shorter but the adventure, drama, and intrigue are nothing short of wonderful. Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are looking forward to the next seasons and so is Daenerys actress Emilia Clarke.
In a recent interview with Deadline, the duo revealed a lot of interesting stuff about the next season and also shed light on the questions that have been on the minds of fans for quite a while. Talking about that final look between Jaime and Cersei, after she is crowned, they said that it is a profound moment of realization for Jaime. He had known all these years that Cersei is in charge of their relationship but now he fully realizes it.
Throwing light on Cersei, they said that Tommen would not have died had she not been so vengeful and the next season is going to deal with her mindset. Most of her actions, all these seasons, were inspired out of love and attachment with her children.
However, now that she has lost all of them, it would be an interesting thing to explore her in detail and find out who she is as a person. They also revealed that all the characters, especially, Arya, Tyrion, Jon and Daenerys were fun to write about and this show has taught them how to write under strict deadlines.
Talking of Daenerys, actress Emilia Clarke is very happy to be known for her role in the series, reports The Stopru. In an interview, she said that Dany has a fascinating history and she has come a long way from being a vulnerable sister to the Mother of Dragons, finally marching ahead as a conqueror.
Talking about the impending end, she said that it will not be very nice to go through but she is pretty excited as it will be huge and epic. Also, more than the end, it is Dany's journey that Clarke holds dear as it helped to give out the message of women empowerment. Last but not the least, she wants people to remember the many heroes in the series.
