New details for "Injustice 2" will feature Starfire and Red Hood as the possible next characters joining the roster and a PC version in the works after the console launch.
NetherRealm Studios will likely announce new characters for "Injustice 2" very soon as the game developers recently added "Suicide Squad" members Harley Quinn and Deadshot to the roster during the Gamescom 2016 event, along with new 15 minute gameplay and a look at the customization options.
Now it seems that two new DC heroes will likely show up in "Injustice 2" roster as "Mortal Kombat" creator and game developer Ed Boon teased a series of polls for the gaming and comic book fans as to which characters they want to see added next to the roster.
The first of these is the Red Hood as Boon tweeted a poll asking the fans if they want to see the Joker version or the Jason Todd version of the character. When the results of the poll came in, 81 percent of the fans voted for Jason Todd, while 19 percent came from The Joker.
The next character poll featured Starfire, John Constantine and Black Manta, where in the results revealed thar 43 percent of the vote goes to Starfire, while 32 percent goes to John Constantine and 25 percent goes to Black Manta, Gamespresso reported.
With these results in mind, it seems that NetherRealm will likely keep their promise a have both Red Hood and Starfire in "Injustice 2" joining the likes of Batman, Superman, Supergirl, The Flash, Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Wonder Woman, Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd, Harley Quinn and Deadshot.
In other news, Boon teased the possibility of a PC version for "Injustice 2" during the San Diego Comic con event.
However, there is no telling as to when will it will be released, either alongside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles or on a later date, WCCFTech reported.
Boon added that a mobile version of "Injustice 2" is also in the works as he made a poll asking fans if they want an updated version of the first "Injustice" game or a seperate new mobile app, with the majority wanting a new app by 71 percent.
"Injustice 2" will feature several DC characters fighting each other using their abilities and powers. Player's can earn several armor loots after each battle whether they win or lose. Each armor set can enhance their abilities or unlock new ones.
The plot of "Injustice 2" will take place after the first game as Batman tries to rebuild the world after Superman's One Earth Regime, while at the same time stopping the Man of Steel's loyalist in breaking him out of his Red Sun prison, unaware that an even greater threat is coming to earth.
NetherRealm Studios has not yet announced an official release date for "Injustice 2" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it is speculated to launch on March 2017.
