'Uncontrollably Fond' is a South Korean television series starring Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy.

South Korean actor Kim Woo Bin reveals the reason why he has only been working out at home. The 27-year-old actor recently starred as Shin Joon-Young in KBS 2TV's "Uncontrollably Fond" alongside miss A's Bae Suzy.

On Aug. 27, Saturday, "The Heirs" actor sat down for an interview at KBS 2TV's "Entertainment Weekly." During the interview, Kim opened up about how he keeps up his figure, as well as the fallbacks of having broad shoulders.

Kim, who is known for his bulky physique, was actually a slender model at the beginning of his career. He revealed that he worked out two to five hours a day to achieve his muscular physique.

"Even now I'm on the skinny side, but in the past, I was even skinnier," he said. "I don't know if my metabolism has changed, but now if I eat, I gain weight. I believe in exercising a lot while eating everything you want to eat."

Kim was then asked whether he would rather have broad shoulders or chiseled six-pack abs, to which he replied broad shoulders. Ironically, he revealed that being recognized for having broad shoulders is actually a burden since people try to compare their shoulders to his, as a standard of measurement.

"Even when I go to the gym to exercise, people only look at my shoulders," Kim revealed. "It's burdensome, so I'm working out at home right now."

Apart from a regular intense workout, the actor also drank more than two liters of water a day and maintained low-sodium meal plan, The Kpop Herald reported. It is said that Kim has a shoulder width of 57 centimeters.

Kim, who made his acting debut in 2011's "White Christmas," flaunted his well-defined six-pack abs in KBS2's "Uncontrollably Fond." The drama's fourth episode, which aired on July 14, saw the Hallyu star's firm physique, as he only wore a piece of towel after he got out of the shower. The photo was widely circulated on Facebook.

Meanwhile, Kim is confirmed to star in "Master," an upcoming crime thriller film to be directed by Cho Ui-Seok, Drama Beans reported. The film, which also stars Kang Dong-Won and Lee Byung-Hun, is set to premiere in early 2017.
