Google has announced the banning of any sexually explicit contents being published in their Blogger platform. Adult contents will be asked to set to private if user tries to publish the sexually explicit image or videos. The announcement was sent to warn its users to set their adult contents into private.
Google's Blogger will still allow the publishing of sexually explicit contents however it has to be set to private from which will be viewable by the owner and those who will be invited via the URL linking to the image or video, PC Mag reported.
To add more, Google warns that blogs which will not comply with the new set policies with regard to posting of sexually explicit contents will be removed. The internet giant has sent the "adult content warning" to tickle the awareness of its users to do appropriate action with their adult content pages.
Google also mentioned that they need to delete the sexually explicit content or find their blogs removed from every form if access except registered users, according to ZDNet.
The notice sent to the Blogger users also covers removal from search engines in every way possible and access to such contents will only be invitational.
This is also about protecting minors from viewing porn. Blogger platform is easily accessed by anyone who uses the internet, and Google warns that they will be very strict to newly created blogs.
"For any blogs created after March 23, 2015, we may remove the blog or take other action if it includes content that is sexually explicit or shows graphic nudity as explained in our content policy," Google warned.
