Paige, Eva Marie and Alberto Del Rio are currently serving 30-day suspensions for violating the WWE Wellness Policy. Here are the latest rumors, updates and possible plans for the three superstars after their suspension.
According to Heavy.com, Paige is eligible to wrestle again on September 17 and she could make an appearance on the September 19 episode of Monday Night Raw. On the other hand, Eva Marie is going to miss SmackDown Live's first brand-exclusive pay-per-view "Backlash" on September 11 since her suspension ends a week later.
It should be noted that there is no update regarding Paige's injury on her shoulder and neck. She was pulled out from the recent WWE tour of Australia and New Zealand due to injury before her suspension. Some news outlet reported that her injury might have been severe than expected.
As for Eva Marie, she was rumored to be getting a big push leading to being crowned the first ever SmackDown Women's champion. However, her suspension will surely halt her push and even her gimmick might be changing.
The 31-year-old dyed her hair black which means her Ms. All Red Everything nickname will change to Ms. All Black Everything. Before her suspension, her storyline involves getting out of matches for many ridiculous reasons such as an injury, wardrobe malfunction and traffic.
On the other hand, Del Rio might not be joining Paige, who is his real-life girlfriend, in the WWE after his suspension ends on September 17. According to Wrestle Zone, the former WWE World Champion is done with the company after triggering an out clause in his contract.
Del Rio was reportedly pulled from all live events he was advertised after the date of his return from suspension. He is rumored to be unhappy with the WWE and Vince McMahon's false promises to him following his return last year
The 38-year-old was promised to be the next "Paul Heyman Guy" and he will become a big babyface to replace Rey Mysterio. However, it never came to fruition as Del Rio was paired will Zeb Colter and he went on to become part of the failed League of Nations stable.
