Dark horse squad Guatemala (2-2-1, 7 points) will try to advance to the fifth and final round of 2018 FIFA World Cup CONCACAF qualifiers as they host lowly team Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (0-5-0, 0 points) at the Estadio Mateo Flores in Guatemala City on Sep. 6, Tuesday.

Start Time and Streaming Info

The game starts at 6:15 p.m. UTC+6. It can be viewed live online thru FuboTV.

Guatemala is three points behind second-place squad the United States in the Group C standings, but the goal difference between the two teams are so lopsided with the former having +1 while the latter has +13.

In case of a tie, the goal difference of each squad is taken into consideration to determine who will advance in the next round.

This means that Guatemala must beat the Vincy Heat by a rout and Team USA must lose to Trinidad and Tobago in also a lopsided fashion in their own matchday 6 affair for Los Chapines to qualify to the Hex.

Head coach Walter Claverí's side is coming off a 2-2 draw with the Soca Warriors on Sep. 2 on the road at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain to give themselves the slim chance of overtaking Team USA for the second spot in Group C, as per ESPN.

Guatemala team captain Carlos Ruiz opened the scoring at the 36th minute but Trinidad and Tobago's Joevin Jones found the equalizer in the first half stoppage time. Jones then put the hosts ahead with a goal at the 62nd, but Ruiz managed to level the count with three minutes left before full time with his second goal of the contest as well.

Meanwhile, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines were crushed by Team USA, 0-6, at their own home ground of Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingston to remain winless in their five games in the CONCACAF qualifiers, SB Nation reported.

Midfielder Christian Pulisic led the visitors with two goals while four other USA players scored a goal each to pull off the six-goal victory.
