Actor Ryan Potter (R) with characters Hiro and Baymax attends the Los Angeles Premiere of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Big Hero 6' at El Capitan Theatre on November 4, 2014 in Hollywood, California.

The sequel of ''Big Hero 6'' is expected to be released is quarter 3 of 2017 after "Guardians Of The Galaxy 2" is released and is expected to bring back Hiro Hamada who might be fighting against his elder brother Tadashi.

Stan Lee the comic book legend, had revealed in the beginning of the year that he is in talks with Marvel Comics and the untitled sequel is on its way. It is expected that Tadashi Hamada (voice artist Daniel Henney) is rumored to return as a new character, Sunfire and the fans who thought he died in ''Big Hero 6'' are happy to hear the news. According to a review posted on slashfilm, Lee has already shot his three cameos in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe's ''Doctor Strange,'' ''Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,'' and ''Spider-Man: Homecoming.'' Now the turn for ''Big Hero 7'' might come.

However, the readers of the original Japanese manga know that Sunfire is not an entirely new character as he is a part of the Japanese manga series. Since the movie was adapted from the manga series, this new character might be included in the sequel. Fans remember that Tadashi died while trying to save Professor Robert Callaghan (voice artist James Cromwell) in ''Big Hero 6.''

Blogger Jon Negroni had revealed that Tadashi's body was never found in ''Big Hero 6" and it is possible that the nuclear invention might have transformed Tadashi into Sunfire. Since Negroni has been writing about the Manga series and is an expert in this domain, his views cannot be completely negated. However, until officially the makers do not reveal anything, the rumors will continue to do the rounds.

Lee had talked about this project in details in an interview to Toronto Sun. ''After Ant-Man, we're going to start playing around with Doctor Strange, the Black Panther, the Inhumans, and then we have to come back for 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2,' 'Big Hero 6,' 'The Avengers,' 'Captain America'' is what he revealed.

The budget of ''Big Hero 6'' was $165 million and it made a collection of $657.8 million in the box office worldwide when it was released in Nov. 2014. This movie was directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams. In an interview Williams told that the story of ''Big Hero 7'' is in the making and they are all set to come up with a great movie. Since the audience grew up with Disney Animation, and with time their demands have only increased, they are looking at creating a magic again.
