Park Bo Gum stars in the KBS historical drama 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.'

It appears that the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor Park Bo-Gum might lend his voice to the show's original soundtrack. In the ongoing historical drama, the 23-year-old actor portrays the eldest son of King Sunjo (Kim Seung-Soo), Crown Prince Lee Yeong.

On Sept. 9, Friday, a source from Park's agency, Blossom Entertainment, told local news outlet My Daily, as cited by Soompi, that the "Reply 1988" actor may be taking time out from his busy schedule to record an original soundtrack for the KBS drama. It is said that Park singing the show's OST is still under discussion.

"As a star of the show, he has received a proposal from 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds' for him to take part in the OST," the source revealed. "It is just one of several proposals and nothing has been decided yet."

Park, who made his acting debut in 2011 crime thriller film "Blind," initially wanted to be a singer-songwriter. In a previous interview with Hong Kong's Men's Uno magazine, Park expressed his passion for music, revealing that he sent a video of himself singing and playing the piano to all the big agencies in South Korea.

The "Hello Monster" actor admitted he have not forgotten about his dreams to become a singer. He then mentioned his interest to sing an OST for a television drama.

"Currently, I work as an actor, but I still love music," Park told Men's Uno magazine, as cited by All Kpop. "If given the chance, I want to take part in a drama OST making and also try out for musicals."

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" secured its number one spot in the Monday-Tuesday ratings battle. The sixth episode of the historical drama, which aired on Sept. 6, Tuesday, recorded 21.0 percent in Seoul National Capital Region.
