Park Bo-Gum and Kim Yoo-Jung star in the KBS 2TV drama 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds.'

South Korean actress Kim Yoo Jung, 16, has revealed just how close she is to her "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" co-star Park Bo Gum. In the KBS 2TV historical drama, the two currently stars as Hong Ra On and Crown Prince Lee Yeong, respectively.

The "Moon Embracing the Sun" actress recently shot a pictorial for Korea's Elle magazine. In the accompanying interview, she shared her thoughts on her "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" co-star.

"Park Bo Gum oppa is really good to me," Kim told the magazine, as cited by Soompi. "We're like siblings... Now not only Bo Gum oppa but Jinyoung oppa and Kwak Dong Yeon oppa and all the seniors feel like family."

Kim revealed that she and Park wanted to get close to each other before the production for "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" began. Hence, both of them did script readings together and went out for a meal, but felt awkward.

At the point when shooting officially began, Kim stated becoming close to Park happened naturally, as they experienced difficulties together. She admitted that filming for the historical drama is undoubtedly difficult, as she had to compress her chest for the role.

In the ongoing drama, Kim took on the role of a popular and street-smart woman, Hong Ra On, who was raised as a boy by her own mother. She brings home the bacon by disguising herself as a male counselor before she ends up as a eunuch of Crown Prince Lee Yeong.

"The first shoot was so hard that I wanted to run away," Kim revealed. "But now I'm enjoying each day. All the actors and staff are having fun filming."

Helmed by Kim Sung-Yoon and Baek Sang-Hoon, "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" follows the transformation and growth of Crown Prince Hyomyeong, posthumously called King Munjo, from a boy to a regarded ruler. He is known to have pursued various political reforms before dying at the young age of 20.

During a promotional press conference held at Times Square in western Seoul, director Kim Sung-Yoon said "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" intended to show a more contemporary message than disclosing a political one, Yonhap News Agency reported. He added that the show's focus was on showing a romance that is pretty and charming but also sad.
