Last season's runner-up squad Borussia Dortmund (1-1-0, 3 points) will look to redeem themselves from a humiliating defeat in the last round as they square off with tough team SV Darmstadt 98 (1-1-0, 3 points) at their home field of Signal Iduna Park on Sep. 17, Saturday.

The game starts at 9:30 a.m. ET. It can be viewed live online thru FuboTV.

Borussia Dortmund had a good start to the season with an expected 2-1 win over Mainz in their opening game at home. However, the team was stunned by RB Leipzig in their second fixture as they were nipped by the newly-promoted side, 0-1 at the Red Bull Arena last Saturday, as per Goal.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel's squad had struggled with their attacks during the match as they also had lapses in the defensive end to allow the Bulls to sneak in a goal and snatch the win from under their noses.

The game actually looked headed to a goalless draw as both teams did not find the back of each other's net for the first 89 minutes of the 90-minute contest. It was until Guinean central midfielder Naby Keita right-footed a shot from center box off an assist from Scottish winger Oliver Burke that a goal was put on board, handing Die Borussen their first loss in the season.

Meanwhile, Darmstadt pulled off a 1-0 victory over middling team Eintracht Frankfurt at their home ground of Jonathan-Heimes-Stadion am Böllenfalltor also last Saturday to split their first two games this term, via ESPN.

Right wing back Sandro Sirigu netted the winning goal of the match right at the stroke of full time, helping head coach Norbert Meier's boys come back from their opening day loss to Cologne and find their first win of the season.

Dortmund is currently at the eighth spot of the 16-team German top flight table while Darmstadt is settled at 12th place.
