Theorists speculate that Taylor Swift has exhausted all her creative juices that she has to resort to forcing herself in and out of relationships just to get inspirations to write new songs. Others even joke about the "Bad Blood" entering a new romance with Brad Pitt right after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from him.
Shortly after breaking up with DJ Calvin Harris, Swift entered a new relationship with "Thor: Ragnarok" star Tom Hiddleston. It was short-lived and theorists dismiss it as nothing but conspiracy considering the timing.
LaineyGossip.com founder and editor Elaine Lui told Vanity Fair that Hiddleswift was real. However, it "just so happens" that at the time, Swift's breakup was the gossip and entertainment headlines over the last 48 hours, and conveniently Kanye West happened to be showing his new collection at New York Fashion Week.
But the news about Swift and Hiddleston's breakup is nothing compared to the news about the split of Hollywood's power couple fondly called Brangelina. On Sept. 20, Tuesday, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt and according to a source, the latter was caught off guard with the filing.
"Brad did not want the marriage to end," the source told E! News. "He was committed to doing what he needed to make it work. He was open to counseling."
Another source told the publication that Pitt is currently emotionally torn and devastated and he still loved Jolie. Willing to do whatever it took to save the marriage, he would have preferred they fight to make the marriage work and did not realize she had already given up on it, according to the source.
In 2015, Pitt and Jolie co-starred in the romantic drama film "By the Sea," which was written and directed by the latter. It also starred Melanie Laurent, Melvil Poupaud, Niels Arestrup, Richard Bohringer, Marika Green, Sarah Naudi, Aldo Buontempo and Philippe Martinet, among others.
