‘Dragon Ball Super’ episode 59 recap and review: Beerus is the true badass [SPOILERS]

Gowasu is relaxing in the courtyard as Zamasu arrives with tea for his master. Zamasu notices Beerus and company and greets them. The recap for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 59 explores Beerus in his true badass form.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 59 recap and review

The episode begins with Zamasu who has brought tea for Gowasu and meets Beerus, Whis, Goku and the Kaioshin from Universe 7.

Zamasu wonders about their arrival. He is defensive and wonders if they know about his plan. He asks them if they found out information about the person wearing the Time Ring. However, Beerus informs that they have come for something else.

Meanwhile, Goku wants to fight Zamasu again and he keeps bringing up this topic. Beerus gets irritated and hits Goku.

Zamasu is suspicious but tells them that he would like to have a rematch with Goku.

The evil Zamasu proposes to fight him, but Beerus intervenes and says that they would not like to disturb them during their tea time. Moreover, it is Beerus' nap time. Whis gives daifuku to Gowasu and they leave.

Beerus and others stop midway in the space and Whis uses his staff to see Zamasu and Gowasu live.

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 59, Beerus could sense that Zamasu wants to kill Gowasu. But, they will have to wait and find proof that it is not mere intention.

Goku is tensed as he thinks that it will be too late if they wait for the proof.

Meanwhile, in the future, Zamasu and Black are chilling as Black says that he will make sure Goku goes down next time. However, Zamasu feels that it would leave Black without a prey. Zamasu is happy that he is immortal and suggests Black that he can use the Super Dragon Balls to become immortal.

Black wants to become stronger to accomplish their mission of 0 Mortal Plan.

Elsewhere, in the present, Bulma spends time with the time machine, while Future Trunks is sad about leaving Mai alone in the future. Pilaf and friends are watching him and Pilaf thinks it is the right time for kid Mai to approach Future Trunks. But, Mai thinks that it is a bad idea.

Kid Trunks face his future self and taunts him about losing the fight and questions if he could protect Mai. Trunks goes Super Saiyan and attacks Future Trunks.

Meanwhile, in Universe 10, Gowasu is relishing daifuku with tea and wants Zamasu to try but he declines.

Zamasu talks about Gowasu's theory of balance between good and evil and agrees with his principle. He goes behind Gowasu, Beerus and others can see Zamasu powering up and bringing out the energy blade.

Goku wants Beerus to do something but it is too late as Zamasu slices Gowasu.

Whis reverses time back to before the strike. Whis uses his powers to cover Zamasu's hand with a cat mitten that envelopes the energy blade saving Gowasu.

Beerus and others appear and tell Gowasu about his apprentice's evil intention. Kaioshin explains that he wants to kill Gowasu and take away the Time Rings and use the Super Dragon Balls to gain immortality.

Zamasu explains that he is ready to bring into action the divine justice. Goku adds that Zamasu has destroyed cities and annihilated people in the future. Zamasu is pleased that he becomes immortal, but Beerus stops him and destroys him in a single attack.

Meanwhile, Future Trunks and Kid Trunks end their fight. Beerus and others crash land on Earth and Beerus scolds Whis for it. They tell Future Trunks about what happened. But, Trunks is not sure as the future remains unchanged.

But, Beerus being the badass Beerus tells them that when a God destroys another God, the time-space changes.

The episode ends with Trunks still in doubt.
