"19 Kids and Counting" alum Josh and Anna Duggar recently celebrated their eighth anniversary as husband and wife.
On their official Facebook page, Duggar's parents Jim Bob and Michelle greeted them on their special day.
"We are so thankful for God's redemptive love in your lives," the couple wrote alongside a photo of Duggar and Anna.
The greeting from Jim Bob and Michelle came as a surprise to some fans who thought that the couple is no longer supporting Duggar and Anna.
After all, Duggar was rumored to have cheated on his wife. He also confessed to sexually molesting five young girls when he was just a teenager.
Immediately after, Duggar was sent to rehab to receive treatment for his pornography and sexual addiction. After completing his six-month stint, Duggar reunited with his wife and since then have gone to therapy together.
"We have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing. It isn't easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. We are thankful for God's forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives. As the future unfolds, we are taking one day at a time and we are grateful for your continued prayers for both of us and our sweet children," Anna said in a statement in May.
Meanwhile, some fans were not happy with Jim Bob and Michelle's greeting for Duggar and Anna on Facebook, according to IBTimes.
One fan called Duggar a cheater and reminded him of what he has done to his wife and the entire Duggar clan.
"Once a cheater always a cheater. She should have ran for the hills instead of lowering her stands for an unloyal husband. She is setting herself up for disaster and more heartache," the fan wrote.
"19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled after Duggar confessed to sexually molesting five young girls. Since then, TLC released a spinoff called "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" that is currently on its second season.
