Here is the new Android 7.0 Nougat release news for Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge Plus, Note 5, Note 7 and S6 Edge.

According to a GSMArena report, the tech company Samsung is in the process of testing the Android 7.0 N update on the Galaxy S7 Edge and S7.

It is expected that the update will bring in Grace UX earlier seen on Samsung Galaxy Note 7 together with performance improvements.

According to the company, custom features of Android 7.0 Nougat will need two to three months.

If reports are anything to go by, the S7 series will get the update first, and after that the Samsung S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 will get the Android N. There is no information on whether Samsung will roll out the new Android update to the Samsung Galaxy S5 or not.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 was able to receive the Android Marshmallow update in the first quarter of this year. If reports are anything to go by, first quarter of 2017 is when the newest Android version will arrive on the Samsung Galaxy S7, and after that slowly trickle down to the other devices.

The search giant Google rolled out the final build of Android 7.0 Nougat  one month ago, after monthly developer previews of the operating system. According to a BGR report, Nexus devices have got the Android N update.

Earlier, the South Korean company has announced that Android 7.0 N will come to the Galaxy Note 7, in three months, a time Samsung requires to implement custom features in the build.

Users of these devices should wait a bit longer if they want a reliable and stable Nougat build for their devices. Beta testing makes sure that the software company can guarantee a release that is bug-free.

Samsung's Koh Dong-jin said that it is extremely important for them to offer up-to-date information with the latest operating system, but what is more important is to create a seamless and stable platform for people. That is why they are planning to do sufficient beta testing before operating system updates.
