Cesaro recovers after a hit from Kevin Owens at the WWE SummerSlam 2015 at Barclays Center.

Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler are two of the most underutilized superstars in the WWE and there are speculations about their future in the company. The latest rumors have revealed updates on the contracts of both superstars and the possibility of them leaving the WWE this fall.

There were some speculations last month that Cesaro and Ziggler have expiring contracts and they are not interested in signing a new deal with the WWE. The Swiss Superman is currently in a very long feud with Sheamus that will likely culminate in a tag team title run.

On the other hand, Ziggler is in a very personal feud with The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship. The Showoff will face The Miz at No Mercy for the IC title but if he loses, he is going to quit the WWE.

According to Cageside Seats, Cesaro has not signed a new contract with the WWE. It is noted that he is not being pushed as a singles star because there is fear that he might leave. He and Sheamus are being pushed as a tag team at the moment but if Cesaro opts to not re-sign, he will be written out of television.

The report also mentioned that Cesaro's rumored push as a singles star will go to The Celtic Warriors if he decides to leave. The WWE has underutilized the former U.S. and Tag Team champion despite all the fans that have called for his push to the main event.

As for Ziggler, the report noted that he still has one more year left on his WWE deal. With the stipulation against The Miz, it looks like he will win the Intercontinental championship. However, it is also possible that he can lose the match and be given a time off.

There is also a chance that Ziggler will be given a new gimmick when he returns next year. According to Sportskeeda, one of the plans for Shelton Benjamin's return was forming a stable with Ziggler and Jack Swagger.

The stable will be called the "Varsity Club" because of the three superstars' amateur wrestling background. However, Benjamin is recovering from a shoulder injury while Swagger is in a feud with Baron Corbin.

Nevertheless, these are just purely speculative at this point and should be taken with a grain of salt. Check out the video below for a match between Cesaro and Ziggler in an episode of Monday Night Raw last 2014.
