Amazon China denies rumors that LeEco is buying them.

Amazon is giving its users a new product called Twitch Prime which essentially gives an ad-free viewing experience on the game streaming platform for Amazon Prime users.

Video streaming has blown up in the recent years as popular video gamers stream their matches and games online to share their experience with the viewers. Twitch, which was acquired by Amazon in 2014, has provided users the means to stream and to view streams of their idols for free provided that the service is ad supported.

Now, the premium streaming service allows users to view their favorite streams on Twitch without the annoying or distracting ads. Twitch Prime allows Amazon Prime customers to subscribe to one channel per month which usually costs $5, Forbes has learned.

The new offering from Amazon replaces the Twitch Turbo service and users can simply link their accounts to enjoy the ad-free viewing experience. There are also some freebies for Twitch Prime users including in-game content for SMITE and Hearthstone.

Twitch CEO Emmett Shear said in a statement: " Twitch Prime is one of those unique cases where we have an opportunity to build a product that is equally great for all of our customers-streamers, viewers, and game developers. Offering subscriptions free through Prime saves money for viewers, while supporting streamers to build their community."

The Twitch Prime service will be available where Amazon Prime is already present, CNET reported. In addition, the service will not be present if the country does not have Amazon Prime either.

Users in the United States pay $9 per month for the Twitch Turbo service while the Amazon Prime rate is just $11 or $99 per year making it a whole bundle of savings if customers just choose to pay for Prime. Shear said that players have been asking when Twitch will be bundled with Amazon Prime and now they are unveiling the service with free in-game content for some titles.

Both viewers and players will get what they want out of the new Twitch Prime service as the former will get more savings while the latter will have a larger audience. Users will just need to link their Twitch and Amazon account to make use of the new offer.
