iPad Air 3 will launch in March 2017 instead of in November 2016 due to iPad Pro 9.7

Apple is rumored to be planning the overhaul of iPad Pro line, but the company says that Mac models will not be abandoned despite staggering competition on new product models by other companies.

It can be remembered that many tech savvy expressed disappointments in iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2, but Apple ensured that the tablet flagship of the company will be a lot different and fans can expect more from it.

GameNGuide shared that the iPad Air 3, which is to be released in 2017, will have the same processor, A9, as that of iPhone 6s highlighting the 12MP camera. Other rumors say that iPad Air 3 requires an AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) supporting high resolution and equipped with an internal capacity of 64GB. Moreover, it is made compatible with the redesigned iOS 10 accompanied with a four-speaker audio system. Tech analyst from KGI Securities, Ming-chi Kuo, also pointed out that Apple will most likely come up with a 10.5-inch iPad Air 3.

iPad Air 3 is also rumored to support the Apple Pencil, which means that those who wanted to use their hands and fingers instead of pencil to control the gadget will have to take out extra bucks.

Many believe that since iPad Air 3 was a no show during the iPhone 7 launch event, its release will be delayed until 2017; however, rumors have it that it will be on the first quarter of next year, but the exact release is yet to be announced.

Accordingly, the delay in the launch of iPad Air 3 might also be due to the recent drop in sales of tablets due to the different "tablet-like" phones released. The company might be thinking that it is best to wait for the right time to revive the tablet generation. At present, it is no surprise that iPad Air 3 is on the top of the list to buy in 2017.
