'Stranger Things' is an eight-episode thriller airing at Netflix.

The latest details and possible spoilers for "Stranger Things" season 2 will feature more super powered characters and Will Byers the main villain of the show.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding characters with special powers similar to Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) in "Stranger Things 2". According to Backstage, casting calls for male and female extras, 17-years-old and up and they are interested in all ethnicities.

What makes it more interesting is that they are looking for men with "longer hair styles" and women who are "willing to cut their bangs". While the show is not mentioned if its "Stranger Things", several speculations revealed that the show might feature other persons with special abilities similar to Eleven and have access to the Upside Down world.

Previous reports revealed that Millie Bobbie Brown was "unsure" if she will reprise her role as Eleven in "Stranger Things" season 2. Although, Brown could have been playing coy, so as to not give away any plot twists or to keep fans guessing, but she also mentioned that she is eyeing up a separate project as well.

The Duffer brothers stated that Eleven's fate in "Stranger Things" season 2 is still "up in the air", which led to the speculation that there are still no plans for her return as of now. Still, the showrunners assured viewers that season 2 will feature more places in the Upside Down world that will answer a lot of questions, from the monsters inhabiting the world, Eleven's possible appearance and Will Byers ( Noah Schnapp) being drawn back to that world.

In other news, the possible main antagonist for "Stranger Things" season 2 has been teased as Noah Schnapp shared several details regarding Will Byers role in the show's return.

Schnapp told The Hollywood Reporter that Will likely headed to a "darker path" and teased his struggle in season 2. He added that Will could be become evil in th show as a result of his prolonged exposure to the Upside Down world.

Viewers have seen the last episode of "Stranger Things season 1 witness Will seeing hallucinations of the Upside Down world and coughing what appears to be a worm like creature from that world.

Co-star Gaten Matarrozo theorized that Will may have powers and the Demogorgon abducted him simply because it senses people with powers just like Eleven. Matarrozo's theory may make sense since the Demogorgon was attracted to Eleven because she is "special", hence cementing the theory that Will could have developed powers and the Demogorgon could use him to incubate its eggs.

Schnapp stated Will could go crazy in season 2 due to the traumatizing experience he had on the Upside Down world as he struggles to be normal, but has a hard time fighting what is going on with him.

There are are other speculations that Eleven could channel her presence in the Upside Down world through Will as the flashbacks he had of the dark place supposedly hints their mental connection in the plot of season 2. Eleven can now see through Will and vice versa, after she located him in the dark dimension.

New characters will be introduced in "Stranger Things" season 2 as the showrunners are looking to cast several actors to play the roles of Max, Roman and Billy.

"Stranger Things" season 2 will premiere sometime in 2017 on Netflix.
