Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life Cast

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" star Scott Patterson recently surprised fans when he appeared at the pop-up version of his character Luke's diner.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor was spotted at the make believe Stars Hollow on Wednesday. Fans had the chance to taste Luke's coffee, pose for photos inside the pop-up store, as well as snap photos with the actor.

Meanwhile, Netflix shared a photo of Patterson wearing a black hat and a red flannel shirt as his character from the upcoming four-episode revival. "Welcome to Luke's! @ScottGPatterson #HappyBirthdayGilmore," the caption read.

In other news, Patterson was recently quizzed by E! News to prove just how well he remembered the pilot episode that aired 16 years ago. The first question had to do with how many cups of coffee Luke poured in the pilot. The actor answered five, but four is the correct answer. The next question had to do with Luke's hat and whether or not he wore it throughout the entire episode. Patterson said no, and he was right.

After the hilarious quiz, Patterson also talked about "Gilmore Girls" and how it has become a legacy show throughout the past couple of years. "Look at what it's become. I'm making tour stops now in coffee shops in Beverly Hills. It couldn't be any better," he said. Patterson added that he initially thought "Gilmore Girls" would go on much longer, but he was wrong.

"I thought the show would go on longer actually. And I knew it would have a little bit of a life in syndication after the show, but no one could have imagined that a Netflix would come along and do this. So pleasantly surprised," he said.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will premiere on Netflix on Nov. 25.
