"Stranger Things" Season 2 is back with nine episodes, and one of the episodes titled "The Lost Brother" seems to reveal that Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, has a sibling with the same superhuman powers. A lot of speculations have been ringing about Season 2, which is set to air in 2017.

The titles of the entire nine episodes of "Stranger Things" Season 2 has already been out. The titles are written in order: "Madmax," "The Boy Who Came Back To Life," "The Pumpkin Patch," "The Palace," "The Storm," "The Pollywog," "The Secret Cabin," "The Brain," and "The Lost Brother."

The last episode titled "The Lost Brother" seem to suggest that Eleven has a brother with similar superpowers, Empire Online reported. A new casting call from an unknown TV series searching for boys with long hairstyles and are willing to have their bangs to be cut seem to point out that the show is now on the process of selecting a new talent to fit the role.

As far as casting is concerned, "Stranger Things" Season 2 will be welcoming three new characters on board that include Max, Billy and Roman. Max is described as a 13-year-old female who is confident and tough; Billy is an overconfident 17-year-old teen; while Roman is someone who is in 30 to 38 years of age male or a female of any ethnicity.

The casting ad looks like that Netflix is looking for new cast to fill the roles of patients in the Hawkins National Laboratory. Another angle of the story that seem to confirm that episode 9 is about Eleven's sibling is that Season 2 may now show Eleven's predecessor who has already grown mature in the laboratory.

"There's definitely a handful of really compelling new characters this season, executive producer Shawn Levy told The Hollywood Reporter."Like the show itself, it's multigenerational new characters and really, really intriguing ones."

When it comes to "Stranger Things" Season 2 air date, there is a speculation that Netflix may release it the same month as of Season 1. Since the initial season premiered in July 2016, Season 2 is more likely to take a July 2017 air date.

Showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer have also shared that they want "Stranger Things" to appear as one big movie instead of seasons. With this in mind, the Netflix sci-fi series will be more of a sequel rather than it is called as Season 2.
