James Bond followers need not wait any longer for a new Bond movie, as "Spectre" will be in cinemas anytime soon. The film is now ongoing in Rome, gathering spectators who want to see 007 participating in car chases and parachuting in some of Rome's well-known landmarks, including Tiber River and Sisto Bridge.

The Record earlier reported that the movie also stars 50-year-old Monica Bellucci, the oldest Bond girl yet. Both Bond actor Daniel Craig and Belluci have been seen roaming around town just lately. On Feb. 25, Tuesday, central Rome was closed due to a car-chase scene, which features Bond on his silver Aston Martin.

The details of the plot have been undisclosed until it was announced by Bond producer EON Productions in December that the first version of the script was one of those stolen during the cyber-attack that happened at Sony Pictures.

According to BBC, a group called Guardians of Peace claimed it was behind the attack, which prompted the FBI to investigate.

Despite the news, curious Roman onlookers are gathered to watch the 20-day shoot. One spectator said she hopes that it will be beautiful and offers good publicity to Rome, as other films have done in the past, such as "To Rome With Love" and The Great Beauty".

"Spectre" permit fees are expected to reach $1.1 million, and that it could amount to millions considering the usage of extras, film crews, security guards, hotels, and catering services.

Directed by Sam Mendes, the film's official trailer has just been released recently.
