Current league leaders Manchester City (6-1-0, 18 points) will look to get back to their winning form as they clash with contending squad Everton FC (4-1-2, 14 points) at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 15 as round 8 of the 2016-2017 Premier League season continues.

Start Time and Streaming Info

The game starts at 10:00 a.m. ET. It can be viewed live online thru FuboTV.

Manchester City suffered their first loss of the season in the previous round with a 0-2 defeat in the hands of second-running team Tottenham Hotspur on the road at the White Hart Lane, as per BBC Sport.

An own goal from City defender Aleksandar Kolarov right in the ninth minute started the uncharacteristic struggles for head coach Pep Guardiola's side during the match.

It was evident that the Citizens are missing the services of winger Kevin De Bruyne, who is currently nursing a hamstring injury. Recent reports were out that the Belgium international could return early and suit up against Everton, but Guardiola may not put him on the field for precautionary reasons.

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli doubled the lead with a goal in the 37th from a pass by South Korean striker Son Heung-min off a counterattack play.

Both sides went scoreless after that as the Spurs came away with the crucial win. With the loss, City is now only one point ahead of Tottenham in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, Everton was held to a 1-1 draw by lowly squad Crystal Palace at their home field of Goodison Park on Sep. 30, The Guardian reported.

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku started the scoring at the 35th minute with a super free-kick following a penalty on defender Damien Delaney for a high boot. The first half ended with the hosts on top by one point.

Crystal Palace managed to find the equalizer five minutes after the restart as former Liverpool flop Christian Benteke rose higher than Seamus Coleman for a header.

It was the second straight winless effort for head coach Ronald Koeman's side after opening the season on a five-game unbeaten run.

Prediction and Predicted Lineup

The predicted result is a 2-1 bounce back win for Manchester City.

Manchester City starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Bravo; Zabaleta, Otamendi, Stones, Kolarov; Fernando, Fernandinho; Navas, Silva, Sterling; Agüero

Everton starting lineup (4-3-3 formation): Stekelenburg; Coleman, Jagielka, Williams, Oviedo; Gueye, Barry, Cleverley; Barkley, Lukaku, Bolasie
