Moto Z Droid is a Verizon variant of Moto Z flagship smartphone. The $250 gift card that is now available for the buyers of 32 GB Moto Z Droid at Best Buy effectively reduces the price of smartphone by $250. The gift card can be used to purchase any other item at the Best Buy store.
The retail price of Moto Z Droid is $699 at Best Buy. The offer is valid for customers who opt to buy the smartphone through contract of 2 years or Verizon's payment plan.
The 2-year contract requires customers to make a down payment of $201 whereas the payment plan requires buyers to pay monthly installments of $26 for 24 months, Droid-Life reported. The last date of the offer is not known yet.
Moto Z Droid is a modular Android smartphone. Moto Mods are compatible modules that can attached to the smartphone to increase its capabilities. Some of the Moto Z Moto Mods that improves its experience include Motorola Moto Insta share projector ($299), JBL SoundBoost Moto Mod portable stereo speaker ($79) and Incipio offGRID 2,220 mAh Moto Mod portable charger ($79). These Moto Mod are available on Best Buy.
Motorola is selling Moto Z Droid Verizon variant exclusively in the U.S. The smartphone was announced in June and made available for purchase from September this year. It sports a super slim design of 5.2 mm and it weighs only 136 grams.
It features a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen that offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels that is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. It is fueled by Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. Verizon is only selling the 32 GB variant of the smartphone. However, the regular Moto Z is also available with 64 GB storage.
It features a 13-megapixel camera that can shoot good photos in low lighting conditions. The front-facing camera is of 5-megapixel. It lacks a 3.5 mm audio jack. Users can connect to the USB Type-C port of the device using a headphone adapter. It also features a fingerprint scanner and it houses a 2,600 mAh battery.
