The Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is currently getting ready to release its latest products. Fans have been clamoring for the release of the next MacBook Pro, and now it seems their anxiety will end this month.
Many speculations about the release date of the much-rumored MacBook Pro 2016 suggest that the laptop will come out before the end of October. In addition, much attention is currently on whether or not the purported device will live up to the hype, and how good it will be as compared to its precursors and Microsoft's Surface Book 2.
The Cupertino tech giant is mum when it comes to shedding more light on what users should expect, although this has not hindered rumor mills from teasing all kinds of speculations around the release date, specs, and other features of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016. Experts are optimistic that the rumored features will eventually come to the laptop.
Reports claim that Apple will reveal two models of the MacBook Pro 2016 - 13-inch and 15-inch variants. In addition, the two models are said to be powered by Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor, but in case of any discrepancies, the 15-inch variant will come preloaded with an AMD Polaris GPU, according to BGR.
More features expected to feature in the highly anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 include the OLED touch panel, Touch ID, MagSafe 2 power port, USB-C ports, and a Force touch Trackpad, ZDNet reported. The upcoming laptop is believed to be thinner and much sleeker that its predecessor, something that holds the fate of the 3.5mm headphone jack. The MacBook Pro 2016 will sport a thin aluminum shell.
The elimination of the 3.5mm headphone jack was a major aspect that enabled the manufacturer to design a thinner iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, there is no official information from Apple as to whether or not the feature will be ditched since the company can opt to exclude other areas of the MacBook Pro 2016.
For now, aficionados should remain patient to see what the device will sport when it finally hits the shelves. Here is footage for more information on the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016:
