Kurt Angle - WWE Rumors

Kurt Angle could make his return in WWE as part of a six-man power stable on SmackDown Live. According to the latest rumors, the former six-time WWE champion is being eyed as potential manager for a new stable to be introduced in the blue brand soon.

Angle, who has been active in the independent circuit since leaving TNA last March, is reportedly in negotiation with WWE top-brass for a possible return to the no.1 wrestling promotion in the world.

Although the 47-year old Angle is still more than capable of providing 5-star to 4-star matches on a fly, pro wrestling insiders stated that he will be given the role of a manager of a varsity-liked stable, should his negotiation with WWE materializes.

The stable will feature Angle, another returning WWE talent Shelton Benjamin, former world champion Jack Swagger, current Intercontinental title holder Dolph Zigger and possibly tag-team contenders American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable).

"If the two sides can agree to a deal, it's being reported that Kurt Angle would be managing this entire group. Apparently, WWE was planting the seeds to form this stable when Jack Swagger was brought to Smackdown a couple of weeks ago," (H/T Ewrestling News)
