One new leak has revealed the new Samsung Chromebook Pro specs which look good but the leaked price seems to be too expensive for some.
Samsung seems to be increasing their horizon as they will reportedly sell their Chromebook Pro even after the whole mishap with the Galaxy Note 7 deices that kept on catching fire and exploding in innocent people's homes.
The new Samsung Chromebook Pro is aimed at those who want to upgrade their Chromebooks to a higher-end model but without needing to dish out $1000 for decent specs. Samsung has not yet commented on the leaks and rumors but the recent leak already revealed a product listing which means it is indeed releasing soon.
One pre-order page from Adorama showed the Samsung Chromebook Pro specs but the page does not exist anymore after it went viral, Digital Trends has learned. The site administrator might have taken the page down in fears of being sued by Samsung for being the leak source for their new product which has not been announced yet in any of their official channels.
Samsung Chromebook Pro Specs
Users who are not familiar with Chromebooks should know that they are not really as powerful as laptops even if they look like one. In fact, some of the models are actually tablet-laptop hybrids due to their form factor.
The Samsung Chromebook Pro is expected to have a 2GHz hexacore processor coupled with 4GB RAM, PC Magazine reported. It will also have 32GB for the internal storage which is more than enough for documents and photos.
Another interesting spec or feature is the inclusion of a stylus similar to the Samsung S Pen used in the Galaxy Note series. It could mean that the screen would also be touch enabled leading to speculations that users will also be able to use Android apps on the device.
Samsung may announce the Chromebook Pro specs, features and release date soon considering that it already has a leaked product listing. The price has been revealed to be $499 which is more than expensive for a Chromebook but it could be forgiven since it would be a higher-end model.
