Bournemouth has been unbeaten in five of their last six matches to climb to the 11th spot of the English top flight table after spending the first few weeks of competitions in the bottom quarter of the standings.

The Cherries are coming off a 6-1 demolition of newly-promoted side Hull City last Saturday also at the Vitality Stadium, as per BBC Sport.

Junior Stanislas led head coach Eddie Howe's men in scoring with a brace in the 45th and 65th minutes.

Charlie Daniels opened the scoring right at the fifth minute of the match, but Hull City was able to level the count in the 34th via a long-range shot from Tigers midfielder Ryan Mason.

From there, Bournemouth opened the floodgates to five more goals, with center-back Steve Cook commencing with a header past the outstretched arms of Hull keeper David Marshall off a floating free-kick.

Stanislas then scored the first of his two goals right at the stroke of halftime as he converted a penalty kick off a foul by Tigers winger Robert Snodgrass.

He then netted a second one five minutes after the hour-mark to begin scoring in the second half before Callum Wilson and Dan Gosling added one each in the 83rd and 88th to complete the Cherries' six-goal haul.

Meanwhile, Tottenham remained as the only undefeated team in the season so far after a 1-1 draw with West Brom Albion on the road at the Hawthorns also last Saturday, the Mirror reported.

It was a goalless game up until late in the second half when Nacer Chadli broke the deadlock for West Brom in the 82nd minute.

However, the Spurs were able to find the equalizer just one minute before the full-time whistle was blown with an eight-yard goal from Dele Alli off a back pass from Son Heung-min.
