A 27-square-meter brick sculpture of Daming Palace, an imperial palace complex of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), was on display at Xi'an People's Art Museum in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on Oct. 20, 2016. Wang Tailai, 76, spent 16 years carving the 300:1 miniature, which has 11 city gates, four watch towers, and dozens of halls.
