Korean indie developer Yang Bing released a trailer for his private video game titled "Lost Soul Aside," which caught the world's attention. The game is reported to be supported by Sony.
PlayStation Lifestyle spotted a Twitter post by the game developer that reveals Sony getting in touch with Bing to give their support to his game, which was inspired by "Final Fantasy VX." Sony will assist Bing in completing "Lost Soul Aside" with the help of some developers so that the game can be released by 2018.
In addition, Bing noted that his upcoming game could be under a time exclusive deal with Sony's PlayStation environment. However, with time, the developer is still planning to release the game on other platforms, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.
In a July Facebook post, Bing revealed that he was inspired to make "Lost Soul Aside" game after watching the trailer of "Final Fantasy XV" and was excited by the game's main protagonist, Noctis.
According to Game Zone, the upcoming action role-playing game is also inspired by Tecmo's "Ninja Gaiden." However, Bing revealed that the models may change once the final game is released.
Kazer and Ventas, two of the main characters of the game, were introduced in the trailer that was shared on YouTube. The trailer caught the eye of the biggest game distributors in the industry aside from Sony.
Bing may not be in the process of starting a crowd-funding project for the game because he revealed that he cannot bear all the responsibilities of starting such a project; however, it looks like he does not need to do it because of Sony's support.
Fans will have to wait for more news regarding the title's release.
