Niantic Labs has launched a four-day celebration event for players from October 26 to November 1, where they can expect twice the usual amount of candies for each creature they capture on the game, according to The Official Pokemon Website.

Buddy Pokemon on the mobile game will be awarding candy four times quicker than they normally do. The Professor will give players two candies for each Pokemon transferred to him. Also, gamers will receive twice the candies for each hatched egg.

Buddy Pokemon is a latest Pokemon Go update that lets gamers to walk around with a creature of their choice. The creature will earn gamers candy for each distance walked with them. Lapras ranks number one as best buddy Pokemon in terms of spawn rate and distance efficiency, PokemonGoHub reported.

According to many reports, gamers can get their fill of their spooky Pokemon that will become all the more common and famous during the Halloween season. Gamers can expect many of the following creatures to show up -  Drowzee and Hypno, Haunter and Gengar, Gastly, Zubat and Golbat.

Meanwhile, till now, users of Windows Phone cannot play the game on their devices. According to reports, the reason why the developer does not have the Pokemon Go on Windows Mobile is because the OS is not doing as well as Android and iOS in the market share. It means that the company can gain more profit from the two powerful OS.

The operating system of Windows is not viewed as powerful as its competitors. However, this does not mean that there are no individuals who want to experience the mobile game in their Windows-based devices. There were many individuals sending their feedback to Microsoft asking why the Pokemon Go is not compatible with their devices.

The software company is doing its best to find options on how to fulfill the request of users. Several reports indicate that the Redmond company is in talks with Niantic to come up with a solution on how to make Pokemon Go available to Windows Mobile devices. At present, users of Windows Phone can only depend on PoGo-UWP to be able to play the game.
