Atlus introduces one of the female party members of "Persona 5," which is Ann Takamaki. Her voice actor for the English dubbing will be Erika Harlacher.
According to the official website of Deep Silver, Ann Takamaki is described as the video game's Rose with Thorns. She is considered the center of the school's gossip, which made her feel like an outcast and she gets the full impact of that in the story. She is a person who is constantly pestered with false rumors from her classmates daily in school.
Despite the rumors and unjust treatment from school, Ann deeply cares for her friends in the video game. She is so eager to pick up the mask and join the Phantom Thieves in their mysterious adventures in Tokyo. She also does this to spite the ones who spread those false rumors about her and the gym teacher at Shujin Academy, who seems too friendly with her.
Ann becomes the moral compass of the Phantom Thieves group after their run in with the lecherous gym teacher. She is also a party member that people will need to be with in a fight because she will definitely watch everyone's back.
According to the official website of Behind The Voice Actors, Erika Harlacher is the English voice actor of Ann for the Western version of "Persona 5." She has voiced several different video game characters recently too like from "Omega Quintet" and "Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart" last year. She has also voiced different anime TV shows characters like Hibari Takeda from the English version of "God Eater."
Harlacher told Deep Silver in an exclusive video interview, which can be viewed below, that Ann is actually a really good person deep down. She explained it this way because being a member of the Phantom Thieves meant to be not one of the most upstanding citizens of the world. The voice actor also revealed the different scenes she was involved in, and said few of her lines for the video.
Harlacher is one of the many voice actors involved in "Persona 5" English version. She will join Xander Mobus, Cassandra Morris, Max Mittelman, Matt Mercer, and many more.
