Lee Joon-Gi, who plays 4th prince Wang So in "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," is set to meet some lucky fans in a mini fan meeting event on Nov 1. Dubbed "My Love Lee Joon-Gi," the fan meeting will take place in a theater at the Lotte World Tower Mall.
The meet-and-greet event will give fans a chance to meet the Hallyu star up front and watch finale episode of the SBS drama with him. Out of 10,000 applicants, only 598 lucky fans can attend the upcoming fan meet with a free entrance fee.
"We planned this event to create good memories with Lee Joon Gi and his fans," local newsoutlet Newsen quoted a representative from Namoo Actors as saying, as cited by Soompi. "We thought that there might be many applicants, but never on this scale. We are very surprised but very grateful."
Even Lee himself is surprised by the startling number of applicants who want to see him in person. On Oct. 30, Sunday, he took to Instagram to thank all his fans at home and abroad for their constant love and support.
It was previously reported that the upcoming "My Love Lee Joon-Gi" fan event took Lee about a month to prepare since he personally arranged all the activities and segments. The mini fan meeting promises to be memorable for those 598 lucky fans.
Starting Dec. 03, Lee will kick off his Asia fan meeting tour in Seoul, South Korea with confirmed stops in Japan and Taiwan, respectively, The Kpop Herald reported. It is intended to thank the fans at home and abroad for the huge amount of love and support Lee has received.
