Fellatio cafes are one of the dining trends in 2016 as coffee shops offering oral sex are planned or have opened in key cities such as Bangkok, London and Geneva.

While the one in London plans to widen service by offering cunnilingus to female customers also, the proposed café in Switzerland plans to use sex robots to provide oral sex to male coffee drinkers if laws in the country would ban the employment of prostitutes, Reuters reported.

The Geneva Fellatio café was originally scheduled to open in late 2016, but plans were disrupted when the commercial sector opposed it, Bradley Charvet, a Swiss escort agency operator, said. Prostitution is actually legal in Switzerland but a catering legislation proposes to prohibit sex trade in public establishments, according to a spokesperson from the country’s Department of Security and Economy.

Charvet is talking with an American sex robot manufacturer to order female sex robots expected to cost around $3,000 each. He plans to buy eight and charge male customers $62 or 60 Swiss francs per fellatio. After his café in Geneva starts operations, Charvet plans to open another fellatio café in London manned by erotic cyborgs. After the London café, his next target is in Manchester with 24/7 service.

Beyond providing oral sex in fellatio cafes, sex robots could also be used to treat pedophiles and other dangerous sex deviants, Dr. David Kreps, senior lecturer in information systems and society at Salford University, said. He explained that teledildonics, or intimate androids, could potentially be used as part of the treatment for sexual predators, Mirror reported.

“I would imagine that as an educational tool, reinforcing healthy behaviour and discouraging illegal behaviour, these devices might become part of a wider set of tools used by therapists,” he said. Krep added other possible uses of sex robots are for marriage counselling and as a remote control device manipulated by the wife who is away to ensure the husband still has pleasure.

Kreps said since many couples use sex toys anyway as part of their intimate moments, he does not see any difference if they would also use sex robots.
