Nintendo is expected to unveil the brand new version of the classic NES console which is expected to take the Japanese multinational consumer electronics and software company back to the glory days. Nintendo was the undisputed champion of the gaming industry before Sony or Microsoft ever dreamt of producing gaming consoles.

Nintendo brought video gaming to the mainstream when the company released the Nintendo Entertainment System in Europe in 1986. Now, the firm headquartered in Kyoto, Japan is ready to have a 2016 console reboot.

Nintendo reveals on its official website that, "the classic NES is back in a familiar-yet-new form as a mini replica of Nintendo's original home console." Despite this, a few updates have been availed for the 21st century and the company has made sure it remains faithful to the original release.

The Nintendo Mini Classic Edition is slated for a Nov. 11 release date in the United Kingdom though, fans can get their hands on it before then by pre-ordering if from a number of different places. Various platforms offering this most-anticipated console are Argos, Amazon and Nintendo's own UK store.

According to Mirror, the mini NES will go for £49.99 only and unlike the original NES console, there is no need to go hunting for an RF port on the back of your TV. Instead, the console functions like modern consoles work over HDMI. One is included in the box and, once plugged in, one will have the video and audio handled.

In addition, the famous 80s controllers are back and will need to be plugged into the front of the console. However, there is no Xbox, PS4 or Wii wireless gaming available. Nintendo has also opted to build 30 different games directly into the system rather than be pulling old cartridges and shrink them down.

The original "Super Mario Bros." plus the "Super Mario Bros. 3" are included in the console. Also, "Donkey Kong," "The Legend of Zelda," "Metroid," "Castlevania," "Pac-Man," and "Final Fantasy" are featuring in the new classic NES console.
