Michael Schumacher is reportedly showing encouraging signs of improvement according to close friend Ross Brawn.

The true score on the health of racing legend Michael Schumacher continues to be kept on a tight leash, updates of which are limited to selected friends or official spokesperson Sabine Kehm. Ross Brawn was able to visit his friend and says that “Schumi” has shown encouraging signs to possible recovery.

Ross Brawn is a former Ferrari technical head and helped Schumacher to seven F1 titles, BBC reported. The former is also aware of the speculations tied up to what is really going on with “Schumi,” but made it clear that most of it were wrong.

Brawn believes that hope and prayers for the recovery of Schumacher are the best thing that most can do, as the 47-year-old race car drivers' battle his state resulting from an unfortunate skiing accident that happened back in 2013.

With media being kept in the dark, the only point-person for Schumacher updates is Kehm. However, at the request of the Schumachers, the updates have been minimum to none as they go through these hard times seeking privacy and understanding.

Corrina, Michael's wife, has taken over the finances of her husband’s earnings which was roughly estimated to be around $800 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. It remains to be seen if that would be enough, considering he is reportedly accumulating medical bills of about $600,000 a month.

Corrina has reportedly sold several private assets already, such as a private jet and a resort which raised some concerns about the Schumachers’ finances. She, later on, explained that the reason behind the sales was because her husband would never enjoy them again.

Right now, Corrina is trying to make sure that her husband gets the proper medical attention and care over at their Lake Geneva home. Along with friend and Schumi’s fans, the best thing to hope for right now is to see Michael showing the same grit he did during his prime on the race tracks.

Next month would be the third year since that dreaded skiing accident that Michael suffered from. Check out the video below to see some of the top moments of Schumi’s decorated racing career.
