TWICE is a nine-member South Korean girl group that debuted in 2015.

Phenomenal girl group TWICE will appear as guest in an upcoming "Running Man" episode.

On Nov. 15, SBS revealed that TWICE will appear as guest in the said variety show. This will be the second time that the JYP girl group will appear in the show. They previously appeared in June while they were promoting "Cheer Up". The girl group will reportedly join the filming in Busan after EXO's D.O. and Jo Jung Suk was introduced.

It seems that there will be a love line or pairing up upon TWICE's appearance. There will be 10 girls assuming that all TWICE's members will join the show's filming, plus Song Jihyo. Then, there will be seven guys.

One broadcast source revealed, "All the variety programs want to cast the TWICE members. Even though it has only been five months since their last 'Running Man' appearance, there has been a flood of requests for their appearance."

It seems that "Running Man" is trying to keep the ratings afloat after Kang Gary's departure from the show. Fans were shocked upon the confirmation of Gary's departure from the SBS' variety show and it caused ruckus in the social media. Kang Gary has decided to leave the show to focus solely on his music.

"Running Man" has undergone reformatting to keep up with the trend. The show has a huge following internationally, especially in China. However, despite its popularity abroad, the show suffers low ratings in South Korea in its timeslot. The show is battling with KBS's "2 Days, 1 Night"

Meanwhile, TWICE debuted in October 2015 after the JYP survival show, Sixteen. The final cut left Jihyo, Nayeon, Jungyeon, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Momo, Sana, Mina, and Tzuyu. Since their debut last year, the girls had two comebacks - one in July with "Cheer Up" and in October with "TT". The girls are also nominated for Best Female Group in MAMA going up against their sunbae Wonder Girls.
