Lee Jong Suk may be one of the successful celebrities in the South Korean entertainment industry, however, the actor's professional journey was not an easy one. The "W - Two Worlds" star recently shared his thoughts about acting and his various projects.

Lee debuted as a model in South Korea before branching out to become an actor. With various dramas and movies under his belt, Lee was able to hone his acting talent to deliver powerful on-screen performances.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, as cited by Korea Herald, the "W - Two Worlds" star recounted his journey and initial apprehensions as an actor. Portraying various roles and depicting different emotions on-screen was a difficult thing to do, according to Lee.

The actor even admitted to being scared of acting. To help him get over his fear, Lee joined back-to-back projects to develop himself. Over the past years, fans have seen the South Korean celebrity appear in various movies and TV dramas, as well as magazine covers, music videos, photo shoots and fan events.

Currently, the actor is filming the action suspense movie "V.I.P." where he plays the role of a villain. Lee even described his character as unique given the said role's dark and evil psyche.

Compared to other villains where events in their past led them to become bad, Lee's character in "V.I.P." is simply a malevolent person. The actor explained, "He is the embodiment of evil. He has no reason or excuse to be, he is just evil."

In other news, the "W - Two Worlds" star is in talks to join the upcoming movie titled "Dream." Showrunners are eyeing Lee to play the movie's lead character, according to OSEN. The film will be produced by October Cinema and will be helmed by Lee Byeong Heon, who directed "Twenty."

Apart from Lee's potential new movie project, the actor is also confirmed to star in the drama "While You Were Sleeping" scheduled for release in 2017. Meanwhile, watch a snippet of Lee's performance in the MBC drama "W - Two Worlds:"
