New details and possible spoilers for "Justice League" movie will feature Darkseid's presence and Hal Jordan and John Stewart teased as Green Lantern in the film.
It seems that the Green Lantern Corps will likely make their debut in the "Justice League" movie for DC Extended Universe.
According to the Wrap, the film will feature a Green Lantern and is hinted that member will be a "key sequence" during the plot. While very little is known about this possible Green Lantern appearance, it is still, nonetheless, exciting for the DC and comic book fans as Green Lantern has been known to be a founding member of the Justice League both in comics and in animation.
It is still unknown which Green Lantern member will join the Justice League in the live-action movie, but DC All Access reporter Jason Inman answered several fan questions in his YouTube channel on whether or not the Emerald Knight will cameo in the film.
Inman "whispered" to the fans that the Green Lantern member that could possibly appear in the "Justice League" could be Hal Jordan. He added that Kyle Rayner could be the main protagonist in the "Green Lantern Corps." live-action film in the DC Extended Universe. Inman stated he thinks either Green Lantern or the Green Lantern Corps will get mentioned during the course of the movie and certain event in DCEU will happen, which led to the group to return to earth.
It is previouly reported that Green Lantern will join the League in its second movie and it is yet to determined if Hal Jordan is the Green Lantern member sent to earth or John Stewart.
Meanwhile, another major DC character will also appear in the "Justice League" movie as the benevolent New God Darkseid will make his presents known to the heroes.
Darkseid is hinted to appear in the movie's prologue as he fights against the Atlanteans, Amazons and the prehistoric humans for the earth, MovieWeb reported. After the battle, three Mother Boxes were left on the planet as the Atlanteans, Amazons and the humans hid them somewhere around the planet.
It was during "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" that Darkseid's forces are coming to earth as Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) rants about it to Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) during his visit in prison.
Fearing that an unknown force is coming to attack the planet soon, Bruce tries to recruit the metahumans from Luthor's files to help him defend it now that Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill). These include Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher).
There is also the possibility that Superman will be reborn to join the fight against Apokolips as Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds) leads Darkseid's forces for the conquest of earth.
DC and comic book fans will likely see a new "Justice League" movie trailer soon before the year ends.
"Justice League" movie is scheduled on Nov. 17, 2017, while the sequel will launch on June 14, 2019.
