The Flash is a CW Network series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns.

New details and spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature Barry Allen teaming up with two speedsters to fight Savitar and Martin Stein to tell Future Barry's message during the four night crossover.

The plot details for the midseason finale of "The Flash" season 3 will feature Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) going to Earth 3 and seeks the help of Jay Garrick/The Flash (John Wesley Shipp) in stopping the God of Speed, Savitar. It was during last week's episode that Barry came face-to-face with the benevolent speedster god during an attempt to stop Doctor Alchemy (voiced by Tobin Bell) once for all, however, Savitar shows up killing all of the CCPD Swat team and had the Scarlet Speedster at his mercy.

Barry's attempt to stop Savitar at all cost also affects his relationship with Iris West (Candice Patton) during the Christmas holidays. Meanwhile, Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) tells Team Flash that he is training to be stronger in order to help Barry fight Savitar with the help of H.R. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), much to Barry's chagrin and annoyance, Screenrant reported.

Wally was transformed into a caccoon thanks to Alchemy's philosopher stone as viewers and comic book fans will see him as the speedster Kid Flash in the show. Kid Flash is the result of Barry's "Flashpoint" timeline were in he is the superhero of Central City, but was badly hurt during a battle with Edward Clariss/The Rival.

It seems that Barry will need all the help he can get in order to stop Doctor Alchemy and Savitar from their schemes in turning people into metahumans during "Flashpoint".

In other news, it seems that shocking twist for the DC TV four night crossover will be revealed as "Legends of Tomorrow" star Victor Garber teased that Martin Stein will tell everyone about future Barry's message.

Garber told ComicBookResources that the secret will affect both Barry and the rest of the heroes, but did not reveal any further details and urge audiences to just watch. Both Martin and his other haft Jax Jackson (Franze Drameh) learned about Future Barry's message and has not yet told the legends about it.

The legends team will return to 2016 to help Barry fight mind-controlling aliens known as the Dominators. They are joined by Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) along with Team Arrow, Team Flash and Cara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).

Executive producer Greg Berlanti stated during an interview that he was not sure if "The Flash" would return to its original timeline before "Flashpoint" due to what they have already established on the show.

The showrunner added that if they do not challenge themselves in creating new territory and new obstacles for the characters, it will be less rewarding to watch and probably less rewarding to play. Berlanti wanted to grow in terms of creativity as their characters do.

"The Flash" returns on Tuesday 8pm on the CW Network.
