Kobe Bryant has been playing for the Los Angeles Lakers since 1996.

In a report made by TMZ, Kobe Bryant's confessions on "Muse," bare some of his most deepest thoughts about his marriage to Vanessa. He acknowledges the responsibility of being the man of the house, and at that time, during the rape case year, Bryant admitted that it was then so easy for Vanessa to leave and he can't do anything about that. He said, "At that time, it was easy for her leave, take half of the money, have your daughter. But she didn't do that."

It was in 2004 when Vanessa had a miscarriage amidst the rape case hearing. Bryant went to say that, they wanted to believe things happen and the miscarriage is a natural thing that can happen to anyone, but that was not the case as Bryant blamed himself for the miscarriage and the stress it brought to his wife.

The documentary titled "2004," Bryant immensely talked about his failure to take care of his family, especially his wife. According to him, the reality of the miscarriage will remain with him forever. "He will carry the burden of being the reason why the miscarriage happened."

Without any direct quote on the 2004 rape case against him, he made it clear that it was the time when he "failed miserably" and went on to tell how it made a toll on his life and his family.

The case of sexual assault was dismissed by judge because of the complainant's failure to participate and testify in the case, according to the Washington Post.

In 2004, Bryant admitted to having a sexual encounter with the woman, but insists, it was consensual. The NBA Lakers star is married to Vanessa since 2001 and they have two daughters. Prior meeting Bryant, Vanessa is a backup dancer during her senior year in high school.
