"Avengers: Infinity War" promises to be the biggest super hero movie ever as it boasts the biggest collection of characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The MCU was established in 2008 with "Iron Man" and since then, they have produced 14 films and made over $10 billion worldwide gross. All that they have established will reach a crescendo in "Avengers: Infinity War" as confirmed by co-director Anthony Russo.

"I can't get into too much detail about who we're introducing, but these two movies are intended to be the culmination of everything that has happened in the MCU since the very first Iron Man movie," Anthony Russo tells IGN. "In being a culmination, these movies are in some ways going to be an end to certain things, and in some ways, they're going to be the beginning of certain things."

By no means is that the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Russo confirmed "beginnings." With their acquisition of Spider Man and the deal with Sony covering multiple movies, there is clearly a need to establish the Spider Man universe as well.

Under this premise, a theory has been gaining steam among Marvel fans. One of the possible introductions that would take place in "Infinity War" would involve Venom-or specifically the alien symbiote. This theory was articulated by Comic Book Movie but they also note the limitations.

"Well, it was during the original 'Secret Wars' that the wall-crawler came across an alien suit which he was able to replace his destroyed costume with, and if Peter Parker is heading into outer space with the rest of The Avengers in 'Infinity War,' it would make sense for him to encounter the symbiote during this adventure."

However, CBM noted that Sony still intends to make a Venom spinoff of their own accord. It is not known whether this has changed at this time, but there fans are suspecting that Sony may make more concessions based on the success of "Spider Man:Homecoming."

It would be easier for Sony to extend the deal with Marvel. The star power of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has virtually ensured box-office success. "Doctor Strange" has already made it past the 500 million mark worldwide. For a fan favorite like Spider Man with guest appearances by Tony Stark, one could only imagine.
