Digital distribution platform Steam is currently holding their Steam Autumn 2016 sale, and gamers can expect to have big discounts on a huge number of titles. Also, they can purchase the game of their choice anytime during the sale period, no longer having to catch community deals to purchase what they want.
There are thousands of games to choose from, more 13,000, according to the Steam website, such as: “The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim,” selling for $6.59, taking 67 percent off its regular price; “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare,” discounted by 33 percent and now priced at $40.19; and “Tom Clancy’s The Division,” which now costs $13.39, half its regular price. “Quantum Break” is at $29.99 (25 percent off), “Life is Strange: The First Season” is at $4.99 (75 percent off), and “Sid Meier’s Civilization 6” is at $53.99 (10 percent off).
The sale also includes popular franchises like “Batman,” “Civilization,” “Attack on Titan,” “Far Cry,” “Grand Theft Auto,” and “Just Cause.” There is also “The Witcher 3” games, “Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain,” and “Dark Souls” titles.
Moreover, the company has also introduced The Steam Awards. Gamers can nominate any game and they earn a badge and profile XPs in the process. They can also earn a badge for playing the game or games they nominated and when they write or update their review for that game.
The categories are: The “I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye” Award; The “Just 5 More Minutes” Award; The “Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!” Award; The “Villain Most In Need Of A Hug” Award; The “Game Within A Game” Award; The “I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award” Award; The “Best Use Of A Farm Animal” Award; and The “We Didn’t Think Of Everything” Award.
The Steam Autumn Sale will end at 10 a.m. PST on Nov. 29.
