Marvel's "The Inhumans" TV series will premiere in IMAX theaters on Sept. 4, 2017.

Despite previous interest, Vin Diesel might not be offered the Black Bolt role in Marvel's "Inhumans."

Many fans clamor that Diesel should become the Black Bolt in the new comic series in ABC titled Marvel's "The Inhumans." However, James Gunn shared with Screen Rant that this may not happen, unless "The Fast and The Furious" actor will be willing to give up a few bucks for the role.

Previously, Diesel hinted that he wanted to take on the role when "The Inhumans" was still planned to be launched as movie, but things might have changed since it turned out to be a TV series.

The crew of the upcoming series has not dropped any names yet as to who will take the role nor if Diesel commented on any of these speculations.

ABC's new series from Marvel is said to be the first TV show to have an IMAX premiere before its launch in September 2017. Accordingly, there would be a worldwide screening for the first two episodes before the series officially premieres on ABC.

"The Inhumans" was originally created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby of Marvel Comics in 1965. For those who might not have come across the original story yet, Inhumans are species which came out as a result of an experiment on Homo sapiens by the Kree race. Surprisingly, they turned out to be with unnatural and extraordinary powers; however, the Inhumans were prophesized to be the cause of the downfall of the Kree Supreme Intelligence and so they have to be eradicated.

If Marvel's "The Inhumans" TV series stays true to the original comic book, the adventures would be centered on the Inhuman Royal Family including Triton, Medusa, Maximus Mad, Karnak, Lockjaw, Crystal, and Gorgon. Some of the said characters appeared in "Fantastic Four" and "The Avengers." The Inhumans are led by their king Black Bolt.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first season of Marvel's "The Inhumans" TV series will feature eight episodes only and will premiere in September next year.
