Sprint chief executive officer Marcelo Claure made Christmas early for his employees as he plans to give away the sought after adidas Yeezys by Kanye West to his top performing salespeople.
"I love @ADIDAS #Yeezys, so #TisTheSeason to reward my best @Sprint salespeople! Top ones in Dec will get a pair to kickstart new year!" said the Sprint CEO in his Twitter account, KicksonFire reported.
Earlier this year, Claure did the same and hooked up his best-performing employees the most-hyped shoes of 2015 as a reward for reaching goal sales numbers. He gave them the Yeezy 350 Boost, which has the colorways of Turtle Dove, Moonrock, Pirate Black and Tan, and the Yeezy 750 Boost which was ran in an all gray colorway.
Claure told Footwear News that when he visited the Sprint team in Minneapolis, representatives suggested to him that there should be extra sales contest to motivate the employees, and that is what he will do and the Yeezys are the prizes.
An aficionado for sneakers, especially Adidas and the Yeezy line, Claure said that they will identify an elite group of top-performing sales representatives and the ones who will give Sprint the biggest number of sales will eventually have the chance to rock the coveted Yeezys.
The employees might get the new Yeezy Boost 350 V2 which first released a few weeks ago in the Stealth Grey colorway. Last Black Friday, the Yeezy line added a Black and Copper, Black and Green and Black and Red colorways which were released limitedly to the public. A colorway of Core White was released as a semi-general release while very limited Yeezy Consortium is rumored to be released as well.
The first version of Yeezy Boost 350s sold for price of $200 but reached resell value of $2000. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 sold for $220 but resellers sell it for $800 and above.
