"The Flash" Season 3 will introduce a ninth Speedster in its upcoming episodes.
According to The CW, Accelerated Man, who is from Earth-19, will be part of episodes 12, 13 and possibly more. Photos from the set of the series surfaced online, and it showed a man wearing the costume of the speedster from the comic books. According to iDigital Times, Accelerated Man will be introduced starting next year, and it shouldn't be a surprise because H.R. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) is also from the same Earth.
Meanwhile, in a previous episode, H.R. picked up the call of an unknown character. During their conversation, H.R. told the person at the other end of the line that no one suspects why he is really on Earth-1 in the first place. With this, it is definitely possible that both H.R. and the Accelerated Man are working together to take down The Flash (Grant Gustin).
In other news, Accelerated Man, The Flash and H.R. are not the only three characters who will have major storylines in the upcoming episodes. Just recently, Caitlyn Snow (Danielle Panabaker) already informed her friends that she has started to develop some metahuman-like abilities. At first, Caitlin was worried about what she could do in the future that would harm others. But in the end, she received support from her team most especially Cisco (Carlos Valdes).
Also in the upcoming installments, Cisco will be rocking a new costume as his alter ego Vibe. Over the weekend, the actor was spotted filming his scenes in Vancouver. Photos that were captured by YVRShoots revealed that Cisco's Vibe costume is made of leather. It also features a slew of different colors. Another noticeable thing about the Vibe costume is how different it looks like compared to Cisco's attire as his Earth-2 counterpart, Reverb.
Meanwhile, Valdes was also photographed with his co-stars Gustin, Keiynan Lonsdale and Violett Beane on set on Saturday. This confirms that Beane's character Jesse Quick will also be part of "The Flash" Season 3B starting next year.
"The Flash" Season 3 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
